Note on the first aid board (BLS-AED algorithm)
The resuscitation guidelines have been updated at European level. According to the new European document, there are adjustments to the BLS-AED algorithm that could also affect the content of the first aid board.
The Swiss Resuscitation Council (SRC) is currently reviewing whether and to what extent these changes will be incorporated into the Swiss guidelines. The final Swiss guidelines will be published by December 16, 2025, at the latest.
Once the new guidelines are available, it will become clear whether the first aid board needs to be updated.
In the event of a change, a transition period of 6 months to 1 year will apply.
